  • Job Description

    Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the MP2 Coordinator is accountable to provide administration and support services to the Maintenance Department. The role may be required to provide backup assistance to other plant administrative staff.

     

    Key Accountabilities

    • Accountable for accurate recording and entering of data into maintenance program and work order requests.
    • Accountable to order and maintain parts supplies as per the Prevention Maintenance Program.
    • Accountable to organize work area and to maintain files.
    • Accountable for accurate recording and entering of data into maintenance program and work order requests.
    • Accountable to order and maintain parts supplies as per the Prevention Maintenance Program.
    • Accountable to organize work area and to maintain files.
    • MSDS/SDS update, involving search for MSDS/SDS, maintaining list and updating binders.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Grade 12 and some College or Technical school an asset
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a maintenance department
    • Knowledge of tools and parts (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and technical)
    • Experience with purchasing and pricing of supplies with vendor relation skills
    • Basic skill in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Previous experience with maintenance software like MP2, CMM, or any other maintenance software is an asset
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to communicate in English both verbally, and in writing
