    National Account Manager, Coffee (Food Service)

    Markham (12 months’ contract)

     

    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Director, Grocery, the National Account Manager, Coffee (Food Service) is responsible for achieving annual volume targets associated with the regional business for designated Foodservice Grocery Accounts with direct account and broker management responsibility.

     

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Develop incremental business with existing Coffee Foodservice Customers
    • Establish new distributor and retail customers nationally
    • Develop and establish key business relationships taking the business to the next level and aiming at driving profitable volumes
    • Support the development and execution of the annual business plan. Provide monthly performance in support of achieving annual goals and objectives
    • Refine and maintain customer merchandising and promotional support plans for coffee portfolio in support of contracted standards
    • Development of customer presentations and proposals, business reviews
    • Effectively manage and reconcile all rebates, allowances, deductions and receivables with the applicable trading partners

    Requirements:

    • University Degree or College Diploma, with 5-7 years’ of industry experience
    • Experience in the Coffee (Grocery) Foodservice market is preferred
    • Experience in selling Coffee (Grocery) Foodservice products preferred
    • Previous experience calling on specific customer an asset
    • Experience with selling branded and private label products
    • Ability to travel
